HERSHEY PARK & HERSHEY CHOCOLATE WORLD in Hershey, PA

This has been a place I have wanted to go to ever since I was a child and heard it existed. My vision as a child was a lot more cooler in my head. 🤣 Even though everything wasn’t made of chocolate I was still very excited to go. I really do think Hershey can do so much more to this place and make it a true chocolate experience. Bring in some creativity, do something amazing with all that money you have. Make street lights from “Goodbars” and make benches out of Hershey kisses. Ya know!!! Maybe a real chocolate river or fountain 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s Hershey Park guys.

Because we are doing all of this out of season we are missing out on a lot of options (not just at Hershey’s). Hershey’s Chocolate World had a cute little movie you get to ride through the process of how chocolate is made from the bean so we got in some education on this trip. ☺️ They actually have a ton do there, such as: a museum, make your own candy bar, make and fill your own Reese’s cup, and some other things. However, while we were there they had just closed 😡 at 4:00pm 🙄. Other than that it’s a huge souvenir/candy shop of every kind of Hershey candy they make. Believe it or not I had amazing self control and walked out with just 1 candy bar.

(They even had organic chocolate for you Jaimesen).

Then we walked next door to Hershey Park. It was only opened from 5:00-9:00pm. I wish we had more time but it was good enough. This place is huge! It’s just as big as Busch Gardens/Kings Dominion (I think). The rides they had were AWESOME!!!! Their roller coasters were different then everywhere else and a couple scared the 💩 out of me but I didn’t say anything and the kids loved them (Guy was scared too). This is definitely worth visiting if you love rides.

A couple negatives about the place:

1. I was SOOOO disappointed that they didn’t have amazing chocolate dessert creations all over the place for sale. Nothing out of the norm. 🥺 I went prepared to eat so much chocolate I’d get sick 😂 ….didn’t happen!

2. If you go just know there is one entrance and the same is the exit. However, the park doesn’t loop around side to side. When you walk in, all the walking you do through the park just takes you further and further in the back of the park. When you get to the end guess what….you have to walk back through the whole park.

Other than this we all had a great time. Guy & I are getting old. We get dizzy and headaches now from riding rides and no way can I ride any spinning rides 🤢. This age thing SUCKS!!!
