Hey guys….we are back on the road again!

The housing market “bubble” has caused our landlord of 4 years to tell us he wouldn’t renew our lease 30 days before it was up because he wants to sell the house (for $500,000 over the value of the home). My husband and I sat down and outweighed our options:

A) We could buy a home in an overpriced market and pay about $400,000 more than a house is worth and have to renovate most of the homes (because we weren’t finding anything we liked).

B) We can find another home to rent….BUT there are NO HOMES TO RENT!!! Everyone that owns an investment property is doing the same thing that our landlord did to us leaving the rental market nonexistent. Another cause for the depletion of the rental market is people living in their homes and not being able to be evicted due to the moratoriums in place.

C) We can build a home!! We were told by every builder and supplier we know that would be the worst decision ever at this time. Prices are inflated and some materials are hard to get ahold of.

D) Buy another RV, homeschool the kids and go on a year cross country trip again. Then we can come back next year when the market has crashed and find our home.

Soooooo…..guess what we did 🤗

We moved out of our home….

Sold our trucks….

Sold all of our furniture, put all of our belongings in 2 x storage units, put the kids in homeschool, bought our RV & a Jeep Gladiator so we can flat tow this time (😉 no dolly disasters this trip).

We won’t actually be on the road until 9/27/21 but we officially FULL TIMERS 🥳
