The campground was celebrating their fall festival the day we arrived. We tried to make it in time for the kids but we hit a lot of traffic and pulled in at the end of it all. Our camp site was right next to all of the activities so it was great for the kids. From Sunday on the place emptied out and it felt like we had the place all to ourselves. We loved it! Such a beautiful campground. The reviews I read had me nervous but we all agreed it was one of the nicer ones we have stayed at. We stayed a C34 and had a patio, full hookups, fire pit, nice furniture, cable, WiFi was good and the laundry room was HUGE & CLEAN. They had real commercial size dryers and tons of washing machines (made my laundry day less stressful 😊)
Right next to us was the basketball court, a very nice playground, the pool (closed) horseshoes, pickle ball, bocce ball, ladder ball, etc. The weather was AMAZING fall weather (nice break from Florida). We could sit outside all day and night and it was comfortable.
We went to Niagara Falls on Monday, which ended up being the warmest day, 81. This was an awesome experience for us. We all really enjoyed it. The “maid of the mist” boat ride is a MUST for anyone going. It was incredible. We didn’t get to experience it from the Canadian side because you have to be fully vaccinated. We also went back another night because everyone was saying how beautiful it is at night when it’s all lit up. Honestly, it wasn’t worth the trip unless you go to the Canadian side maybe 🤷🏼♀️.
One night we went to an escape room. This is one of our favorite things to do. If you haven’t done one before, you must. We didn’t escape this one but it was the best one we’ve done. We went to ESCAPE CITY 3 and did the falls one.
We also went to “The Anchor Bar” which is the home of the original Buffalo chicken wings. Guy & Eli love themselves some chicken wings. (Alex, don’t worry they said your sauce is better).
Now we are headed to Pennsylvania.
